I’m not 100% happy with this poster and I’m not quite sure why.

I’m not sure if this is really apt but I wanted a birthday quote as the store turned 2 today!

Two years on and I do kind of feel the same about the store - I love my customers, hate postal services, and do it just for the love of it.

I am trying to reignite the creative spark when it comes to posters though (there’s a distinct lack of new British sci-fi/fantasy about at the moment) and so I may take some time to watch some new films and get back into some old favourites. Any suggestions are welcome.

Seeing as I’m going all out with announcements today it seemed only right that also mentioned that the latest Caractacus Jones is nearing completion and now has a cover!

As you can see by the picture above it will be called Caractacus Jones and the Case of the Curdled Corpse and I’m hoping to have it up on Amazon in the next few weeks.

This seemed apt today as it’s britishindie’s 2nd birthday. I didn’t intend to sell posters when I started this tumblr but it has opened so many doors and brought a kind of giddyness I can’t quite explain.

I didn’t really celebrate the first birthday of the site - or the website - due to uni last year, so this year I wanted to say thank you… to those who follow the site, those who have bought the posters or the books (or in some special cases an image for wedding invites or a cushion!) and those who have just said nice things. You’ll never really know how much it means to me.
